My license is 0408 SPECIALTY INSTALLER C (appliances/equipment/piping, including residential and commercial work), License # 29947. Also by Florida state law I carry a $1,000,000 Liability insurance policy. Your ordinary pool guy probably doesn’t have the license or the insurance. If something goes wrong either during an install or a repair, you could be at a complete loss if you use an unlicensed installer or repair person. * If you hire an unlicensed contractor and there is an accident during the project, your homeowners insurance company could void your insurance leaving you holding the bag. Hire licensed and qualified contractors.
